Our Leadership

David J. Mathews, President

David Mathews began his career in the automotive industry in 1975. He has held positions from F&I Manager for the second-oldest full-line Chrysler dealership in the country to General Manager and co-owner of another Chrysler franchise.

Mr. Mathews obtained a B.S. degree in Marketing from Pittsburgh State University in Kansas. Since Dave joined United Car Care in 1996 he has since dedicated his efforts to developing and building our business.

Bernie Radochonski II, CPA, Chief Financial Officer & Treasurer

Bernie joined United Car Care in 2000, when he assumed oversight of all financial and accounting operations of the company. Prior to joining United Car Care, he provided accounting, management advisory, assurance, and tax services. He has a BS degree in Accounting & Finance from Colorado State University, and is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in the state of Colorado.

Jeff Hagberg, Director of Operations

Jeff is responsible for product development, contract administration, information technology, and human resources. UCC is not a “cookie cutter“ company; therefore, Jeff fields several calls a day asking us to build special programs for particular needs. He is always looking for ways to improve our product offerings and systems.

Jeff has 34 years of experience in the Automotive Industry including 9 years with UCC and 25 previous years with Standard Motor Products, Dana, and Echlin. Jeff began his career in the Information Technology field with Burroughs (Unisys) after having graduated from the University of Arizona with a BS degree in Engineering.

Randy Maxwell, Director of Claims Administration

Randy brings over 35 years of automotive experience to United Car Care, Inc. He has held dealership positions in fixed operations including Service Advisor, Warranty Administration, Service Manager and Service and Parts Director. Since joining UCC in 2004, Randy has streamlined the claims process, creating efficiencies and montioring claims for accuracy. His proven ability to ensure customer satisfaction is evidenced by UCC's A+ Rating with the BBB. His responisibilities include visiting each of our dealerships in order to share his expertise.
